I came across this little application that can be run on any phones that use the Nokia S60 platform. It allows you to listen to Shoutcast streams on your phone wherever you are.
Alex has a Nokia N70 so I decided to test it out...
Update (9/3/07): After looking into it a little bit I found out that the reason it didn't work was because O2 uses a proxy for you to connect to the internet. So I popped a Virgin Mobile sim card in there and it worked like a charm. Read the full story for pics.

Here's a run-down of the steps you need to do to get SHOUTcast streaming radio on your phone.
You need to install two applications on your phone to get it up and running.
The files are available to download here.
Then extract the files.
To start, connect your phone to you pc by bluetooth, infrared or by cable.
Fire up the Nokia PC Suite which came with your phone. Go to 'Install Applications' and browse to the folder you extracted the files to.
Click on the Internet Radio app and click install. You will see the following message...
Hop over to your phone to continue the installation...
It's recommended to install it to the memory card if possible because there are some problems with the playlist file (which we'll cover in a minute) when running from the phone memory.
Then do the same for the other application that was in the zip file 'ShoutcastEngine_28.SIS'.
Now go back to your computer and copy the file 'shoutcast.pls' into the newly created shoutcast folder on your phone. This tells the application what to play.
Now open up the newly installed 'S60 Internet Radio' application on your phone, go to options, click on Stations, then click on 3Radio.
You'll then be asked which network settings you'd like to use. If you don't have anything setup you'll have to find out from your service provider as that is beyond the scope of this tutorial. Choose the profile you usually use to access the internet.
Then you'll see this screen...
And this is where we got stuck. It just sat there saying connecting and never did anything.
After doing a bit of research I found out that the reason it didn't work was because O2 uses a proxy for you to connect to the internet. So I popped a Virgin Mobile sim card in there and it worked like a charm.
It worked but unfortunately the Virgin coverage is crap in this area so it buffered a lot. But there you go, it can be done.
