Well... I knew this day would come eventually, but it's still sad. The Who Deleted Me Facebook application has been "disabled" (deleted) by Facebook because it is against their developer policy.
You're not allowed to make an application that shows who removed you as a friend. Whatever their reasons are, they can't be ver good because a user could simply look and see who deleted them. All this app did was make their life easier.
I've thought about ways to resurrect it, but non seem that plausible. One idea was to make a Firefox/Chrome plugin to do it. This would work because it is separate from Facebook. I don't know how the security policy works, but I'd think (I'd hope!) that a plugin wouldn't be allowed to read what a user is readin on the page - that would be a massive security flaw, but it would make it possibly for a Who Deleted Me plugin to work.
If you have any suggestions please feel free to get in contact. I'll be deleting the Who Deleted Me database containing the friend lists in a few days if it's not possible to bring the app back.

No, we haven't been sleeping all this time, we've just been busy with other things. But now foryour entertainment (if I can remember how to even post a blog on here) we bring you Tweet Map. You simply enter a word or phrase and you can sit and watch as tweets from around the world pop up on a map showing you where people are saying those words right now in the world.
This started off with me looking for another monitor the same as the one in the studio so I could have a sweet dual monitor setup. I was looking on ebay and came across someone selling 4 15" LCD monitors for £70! I couldn't resist the bargain so I had to buy them. My plan was to mount them on the wall and have an awesome huge screen to watch videos / play Xbox on.
Read on for photos and videos.
Now avaliable to download. This show was meant to be our first podcast, but our attempt at recording it failed hard, so we did the show live instead.
New from The Media Dudes - amirite? We created a website similar to FML where you can go to post your stories, puns, thoughts or any other interpretation of the word "amirite" that you like. People then vote if they agree or not.
I spent a while looking for something that would remove URLs from some text. The only thing I managed to find was one that would remove only complete URLs e.g. http://www.themediadudes.com. As nobody writes like that when spamming and this was going to be used on something that anyone can write in, I needed something better.
I made my own thing and I'm sharing it with you so you dont have to search, find nothing, then make your own like I did.
$text = preg_replace("/(^|\s)(http:\/\/)?(www\.)?[0-9a-zA-Z\-_~]+\.(com|net|org|info|name|biz|.+\.\w\w)((\/)?[0-9a-zA-Z\.\-_~#]+)?\b/ie","",$text);
My regular expression skills are teh sux, so you can probably tweak that a lot.
It's been a while since we've heard some really good stuff from Panic At The Disco. But they're back now, sans exclamation mark, with an awesome tune called "New Perspective". It will be avaliable on their upcoming album called "Panic Panic!".
Get the song on iTunes here or get more PATD news on their website. They're currently touring the US with No Doubt and the re-formed Blink 182.
I heard this on Sirius / XM's Alt Nation and fell in love with this song when I first heard it. This song was iTunes' single of the week for the week of July 14th 2009. The album "Ocean Eyes" is avaliable now and this is the latest signle from the album.
The All-American Rejects are back with a follow up to their hit "Gives You Hell". Again from their latest album "When The World Comes Down", "I Wanna" is one of my favourite songs at the moment ad it's been stuck in my head all day.
The single is avaliable now from Amazon as is the album.

After much thinking about the future of Three Radio, it looks like we're not going to be doing any more live shows. However we are not going for good. We are considering making Three Radio into a podcast. That is, instead of listening to the show live, we make the show and you download it from the website and listen whenever you like, wherever you like.
We are currently producing our first show and it should be available to download by next week. Based on the response to this show, we will decide to continue making shows like that or not.
The new shows will be 1 hour long and still contain brand new music, competitions, requests, features and presents. To keep each show original, we will be having more special features each show, starting with the first part of our A-Z of music in the first show.
We will still be playing your requests, all you have to do is let us know what you want played from the request a song page.
We hope that you'll listen to our first podcast and let us know what you think. Follow us on facebook to find out when the show becomes available to download.
This is a bit late - it was exactly a month ago tomorrow that I set off for Florida, but better late than never huh. On June 22nd I went for a week long trip to Florida with my friends Hannah and James, this is what we got up to and some tips on how to get the most of your trip if you go there.
Monday
Headed to Heathrow to catch our flight with Northwest Airlines to Minneapolis/St. Paul. Found there was no free wifi at Heathrow or Minneapolis :( Then from Minneapolis got another flight to Orlando. By the time we arrived we'd been awake for almost 24 hours so were crazy tired, but still had to get our luggage, get the car, find the hotel and check in. On top of that it was my first time driving in America, sitting on the left to drive, and driving an automatic.
The car we rented was from American Car Rental. I'd like to mention here that our experience with them was great! I was a bit worried about choosing them because I couldn't find any reviews of them online and no-one seemed to mention them. I had to go with them because I'm only 19 and this is the only place that would let me rent a car. We got picked up from the airport by the free shuttle from ACR. The signs outside ACR actually said 'Advantage Rent-A-Car', adding to my nervousness having chosen this company. The lady at reception was very nice and friendly although the service was a bit slow. The car we got was a 2009 Honda Civic and was a lovely car, a huge step up from my 1997 Rover 214 I drive at home. So if you're under 21, or even under 25 and looking to rent a car in Orlando then I recommend American Car Rental. They're not the cheapest, but if you have no other option like me then they do the job well.
After getting in the car, figuring out how to start it and remembering to turn the lights on halfway down the road... (<_<) we headed for the hotel. We were staying in the Baymont Inn and Suites on Canada Avenue. The directions from Google Maps and the woman at the car rental place were very simple - straight down Sand Lake Road and Canada Avenue is on the right. But we managed to miss it anyway. After doing a couple of laps round international drive and universal boulevard we whipped out the sat nav and got there. The hotel was very nice considering the price - £25 a night. The guy at the check in desk wasn't the friendliest (granted it was 1AM) but we got our cards and headed up. After a little rest (it was now 2AM) we headed out again looking for a Walgreens. Got totally lost even with Sat Nav and ended up on the Turnpike somehow... but we eventually found one and stocked up on some American goodies (mmm... mint Oreos and Mountain Dew).
Tune in to the Ant and Lex show this Friday at 9PM (UK Time) where we'll have a comptition for you to win 1kg of Cadbury Mini Eggs. To win, you have to guess how many Mini Eggs fit into a Three Radio mug. The person who guesses closest wins!
Conditions And Junk:
Entries are only allowed by phone on 07754408883 or Skype at threeradio. You can tell us your guess by another means but you will not be eligable to win. If two or more people guess the same amount, each person must say why they want the Mini Eggs and we'll chose the winner based on who has the best (funniest) reason. The winner must collect the eggs or pay for shipping. You are not eligable to win if you've won a prize in a Three Radio competition in the last six months. The weight (1kg) is approximate, the winner will receive 300 mini eggs.
The competition opens when first announced live on Three Radio on June 19th.

Good luck everyone.
Rock group Sugar Ray is gearing up to release their new album Music For Cougars on July 21st. I heard this song whilst listening through the new tracks for June 2009 an this one stood out as a nice summery song (although the message it sends itsn't that great, just enjoy the tune).
Below you can listen their first single from the new sew album; "Boardwalk".

It looks like Carolina Liar are about to make it here in the UK. Radio 1 is currently playing "Show Me What I'm Looking For" and claiming it's their debut single. They are of course sucking at music as always. Carolina Liar's first single - "I'm Not Over" was released on May 19th 2008 in America and we've been playing it on Three Radio since then. For this reason, "I'm Not Over" is my song of the week, so that this great song isn't overlooked. Don't get me wrong, "Show Me What I'm Looking For" is a great song, but be prepared for people blasting it out of their phones and ruining it like what happens to every great song that the UK charts get a hold of.

This is the second song to be released from Phoenix's forthcoming album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, which is still a mystery - no artwork or track listing has been released yet. The album is set to be released worldwide on May 25th and in the US on May 26th.
Until then here's 1901 by Phoenix...
